Blossomed from the seeds of a typo, boylebet was imagined by Brin Schoellkopf and Tuedon Ariri as a space to encompass our ever evolving projects. Undefined by one art form, boylebet draws on architecture, mountains, movement, fashion, permaculture, screen printing, and circus for inspiration.
We embrace our minds that are constantly reshaping and welcome the idea that these inspirations will shift over time. The constant remains in our aim to collaborate with friends and creatives while embracing projects that are close to our hearts.
The VALBY RUTA project is a space [in the physical & digital spheres] for exploring the diversity of the circus movement scene that has blossomed in Montreal. Our goal is to promote and search for raw, small scale ways of experiencing the circus arts. Through short form videos and events, we aim to support Montreal artists by giving them a platform to try, to expose and to be seen.
Our beloved carpet: VALBY RUTA represents a neutral space in which artists are given a “carte blanche” to create their atmosphere.
The VALBY RUTA project was imagined by Una Bennett, Basile Philippe, Brin Schoellkopf and Tuedon Ariri and is funded by the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec.
